EFQM strengthens leadership team after revenue growth

EFQM responds to its strong continued revenue growth with new appointments to the Senior Leadership Team

EFQM has announced that it continues to experience significant revenue growth, with a 60% increase over the last four years. This has necessitated a reorganisation and scaling up of its headcount and operations.

The company revenues have grown by more than 20% YoY during 2022, with new clients gained across various industry sectors and exponential growth in the Middle East. Our Middle East Region, led by our Regional Managing Director, Isra’a Mobideen, will continue to grow during 2023 to meet the demand created by the GDP growth and investment in the economies of UAE and KSA. Salman Viralipurath has joined our Middle East team as UAE Account Director to build on our recent regional wins and further support our members.

There are also key changes to our Senior Leadership Team. Gianluca Mule has been promoted to Deputy CEO and Chief Growth Officer, focusing now on maximising growth opportunities for EFQM. Iosune Aguirre has been promoted to COO with a specific role to support our partners in Europe, Asia and South America. As she moves away from her role as Head of Recognition, Agnieszka Cebrat is stepping up to take over this vacated position.

Alexis Willems will take on a new Strategic Account Management role to help deepen our relationships with our biggest clients and members. Louise Myall will take over as Head of Membership, focusing on member engagement. Samuli Pruikkonen will take on the role of EFQM’s Model Expert, driving the changes and subsequent relaunch of the EFQM Model in 2024.

EFQM Chairman of the Board of Directors Paul Little said, ‘I would like to thank the whole EFQM team for their hard work and dedication for continued great results. The Board looks forward to supporting the new Senior Leadership Team under Russell’s leadership to drive the next iteration of growth, support for our members, partners and clients, and to help drive our global ambitions.’

EFQM CEO Russell Longmuir said, ‘I am delighted that Isra’a and Iosune will join the Senior Leadership Team alongside Gianluca, Geert and me. With Alexis leading our Strategic Account Management focus, we are primed for more growth driven by a group of hugely talented people. Our priority is to provide more data insights, best practice advice, and new ways of helping organisations improve their performance and their ability to transform.’
