An overview of all the sessions

The EFQM Forum 2022 took place in Lyon over 2 days - 27 & 28 October. The overriding theme was 'How does your organisation manage transformational change?'

It was opened by EFQM Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr Paul Little.

John Irwin, Denroy Group, gave the first Keynote speech of the EFQM Forum 2022, 'EFQM: It's Just How We Do It.'

Followed by Thomas Lazer, Head of Business Excellence & Quality, Signify 'The EFQM Journey @Signify.'

The next Keynote was given by Frederic Bau, a renowned French pastry Chef, who shared how secrets from the kitchen transfer to change and transformation in organisations.

The first-afternoon session, moderated by Alexis Willems, EFQM's Global Head of Membership, focussed on 'Are French Organisations Transformation Leaders or Laggards? The panel featured representatives from major French organisations - SCLE, Keolis, Group APICIL and Afnor.

The EFQMx sessions were kicked off by the Dubai Government Excellence Programme, who spoke about the importance of 'Ongoing Mystery Shopping.'

Next up were Metsa Group, who spoke about 'Accelerating the forest-based circular economy.'

Bosch Rexroth gave the final EFQMx session.

Day 1 of the Forum was concluded by EFQM CEO Russell Longmuir as he delivered the 'EFQM Future Focus' session.

Day 2 of The EFQM Forum 2022 began with a Keynote from Bruno Chaintron, HR & Transformation Director, Grant Alexander - 'Retention & Engagement: How to reduce the costs and the risks of turnover & disengagement?'.

The final Keynote of The EFQM Forum 2022 was delivered by Jean-Marie Cardebat, Professor of Economics, University of Bordeaux - 'Resilience, the forgotten face of performance.'

The afternoon sessions began with a chance to hear from EFQM Award Winners 2022. Moderated by Iosune Aguirre, EFQM's Global Head of Assessment & Recognition, first up were City of Glasgow College, who achieved 7 diamonds and Outstanding Achievement for Driving Innovation.

The next award winner to discuss their experiences were RTA (Roads and Transport Authority, Dubai) who were the EFQM Global Award Runner-up and achieved 7 Diamonds and Outstanding Achievement for Strategic Vision.

The session was closed by The EFQM Global Award Winners 2022, VAMED, who achieved 7 diamonds.

The EFQM Forum 2022 was closed by EFQM CEO Russell Longmuir.
